Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has shown strong intent to bring young Argentine attacking midfielder Niko Paz back to the club.
In a recent statement, Ancelotti said,
“For sure he can be a part of Real Madrid’s future. We are constantly monitoring his progress at Como. He’s very good, he’s a top talent. This season was needed for Niko to play on a regular basis outside of Real Madrid, it was a smart choice.” (via Fabrizio Romano)
Paz made his debut at Real Madrid during the 2022-23 season, with Ancelotti giving him first-team opportunities before his loan move to Como in the summer. Real Madrid continues to monitor his development closely, sending scouts to watch his progress.
The young midfielder has impressed in Italy with his versatility and dynamism, being able to play in multiple positions, and his leadership on the pitch has earned him praise.
His performances have caught the attention of several clubs, including Inter Milan, who are also keeping tabs on his growth. However, Real Madrid holds a €12 million buy-back clause, allowing them the option to re-sign Paz in the near future.
As Niko Paz continues to shine at Como, the question remains: Could he be returning to the Bernabéu sooner than expected?
