Real Sociedad’s number 14 winger Takefusa Kubo has reportedly been eyed by Arsenal scouts.
The Gunners have maintained a long-term interest in signing the 23-year-old and enjoy a strong working relationship with Real Sociedad. A potential move could materialize as early as the January transfer window, provided a deal can be successfully negotiated.
Rumors indicate that Kubo’s current valuation ranges between €50 million and €55 million. Although he is under contract with Real Sociedad until 2029, his deal includes a release clause set at €60 million.
The Japanese international has scored 3 goals in 18 matches in La Liga with Sociedad. With their star winger Bakayo Saka currently inured, adding Kubo to their side could prove crucial for Arsenal’s run for the 2024-25 Premier League title.
