English winger Lewis Dobbin will spend the rest of the season with Championship side Norwich City on loan.
Dobbin began the season at West Bromwich Albion, on loan from Aston Villa, where he struggled to make an impact, earning just one league start. The 21-year-old had joined Aston Villa from Everton in the summer of 2024 for a €10 million transfer fee, but manager Unai Emery has yet to include him in the squad’s plans.On signing for Norwich, Dobbin expressed his enthusiasm:
“It’s a big opportunity, and I’m excited. I didn’t have the first four or so months that I wanted this season, so I am eager to impress. The head coach has been really welcoming and has a clear vision for me. Hopefully, we will have some success this season.” (via Sky Sports)
Norwich City started the new year with a 1-0 victory over Luton Town and currently sit 11th in the Championship table.
